FOCUS VOLLEYBALL CLUB IS ONE OF THE LARGER LOWER MAINLAND VOLLEYBALL CLUBS.
We are dedicated to the development of young athletes in an inclusive, fun and safe environment. Our teams are primarily based out of Burnaby, East Vancouver, Tri-Cities and Surrey.
Tryout Information to be posted by Mid-October
Focus Volleyball Club is based out of the Burnaby-Vancouver-TriCities area. Athletes from all over the Lower Mainland are welcome to play on our teams. For the upcoming 2025-26 season (that runs from Dec. 2025 to May 2026) we will be running teams 13u to 18u for boys and 13u to 17u for girls.
Registration is now open for Fall Train & Play
Each training session includes:
(i) a minimum of 5 two hour training sessions with a qualified coach;
(ii) a minimum 2 hour playday on Sunday, November 9th (more information will be provided); and
(iii) a Focus warm-up shirt.
Registration for mid November to early December TRYOUTS will open after September 29th.
Please Note:
- For age categories please refer to these age categories for the 2025 to 2026 season
- Experienced/club players need a minimum of 1 year of playing experience
- Novice players are beginners who are new to the game
- A valid SportLomo recreational player membership will be required for all athletes (click on Register button, on Volleyball BC page)
*No sessions on Thanksgiving Monday, October 13th

COACHES NEEDED!
Focus Volleyball Club is looking for coaches (both head and assistant coaches) for the upcoming 2026 season. Our club is looking for keen and dedicated individuals who want to work with young athletes and help them compete to the best of their ability. We are looking for coaches for our 12U to 18U boys and programs.
The club will provide coaches with an honorarium and cover the cost of your coaches certification and training courses plus travel expenses for out of town tournaments. We also have a mentor coach to support the coaches in our club.

Coaches Wanted!
We are always looking for great coaches at all levels who would like to join our team. We provide training, an honorarium, travel cost re-imbursement and loads of fun. Please email us if you are interested.
Indoor Club Season
The indoor club season generally runs from early December to the end of May, with tryouts staring in November and practices starting in January.
Teams generally have 2 practices a week and attend 4 or more weekend tournaments during the season.
